PASTORS JIM AND ESTHER SANDERBECK

Married since 1966, Pastors Jim & Esther Sanderbeck have shared their lives together in both ministry and professional  capacities.  They were ordained through Antioch International Ministries in 1990.  In addition to serving at Living Word Church of Hermitage since 2005, they are the founders of Rock Solid Administrative Services wherein they provide administrative services to both the ministry and secular communities.  As teammates all the way, Pastor Jim provides the vision and the building of people and programs; Pastor Esther comes along side to manage, assist, and refine for excellence.  Because of this consistent administrative style, “team” ministry is anything but a new concept to them.

The Sanderbecks who live in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, have two married daughters (Amy and Beth), two son-in laws (Michael and Geo) and four young grandchildren (Colt, Wyatt, Julia and Ryan).

MINISTERS OF MISSIONS: STAN AND BONNIE SHAFFER

Stan and Bonnie Shaffer were members of Living Word of New Wilmington prior to coming to Living Word Church of Hermitage in February, 2005 and were ordained as mission pastors in April, 2008.

God has given them a heart for the lost (John 3:16) and extravagant worship (Ps. 150:6).

BISHOP JIM ERB

Jim has an over forty year history of ministry.  He has pastured and served as a missionary to the Philippines with the United Methodist church.  For several years he worked with the court awarded teens in a Christian foster home program.   In the early 1970’s he ministered to Jesus People in a barn ministry and then helped lead Jesus festivals that attracted nearly 100,000 teens and adults in a five year period in the Mercer, Pennsylvania area.  For twenty-two years, he then pastored Living Word Church of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.  From there five new churches were planted.  A worldwide network of churches and ministries subsequently has developed called Antioch International Ministries.  Currently he oversees this network.  His most recent pastoral position was Senior Pastor of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Niles, Ohio.

Jim is a pastor of pastors, a powerfully anointed teacher-preacher, filled with the love of Christ.  He and his wife Jan have teamed up to be spiritual parents to numbers of leaders in Christian ministry.

He has authored the book “Formed In The Furnace” with a subtitle of “The Journey Into Spiritual Fatherhood.”

He, with his wife Jan, have three children and nine grandchildren.  They live in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
